English Foundation Learning(EFL) is a comprehensive English and academic training program that helps students regain their basic English skills before moving on to the IELTS or TOEFL exams. The purpose is to improve your English skills either for work or travel. EFL courses help develop independent thinking, critical thinking, academic ability to help students succeed in any aspect of their life.
The EFL English program for adults provides students with essential and useful English knowledge and skills for learning and working in the context of globalization. Furthermore, students are simultaneously able to improve their communication and critical thinking skills as well as get familiar with IELTS test-taking strategies.
Our EFL teachers graduated from the world’s leading universities, with an English level equivalent to IELTS 8.0 / TOEFL 110 and above. They are well-trained to master YOLA standard teaching methodologies. In particular, the program also introduces the basic test-taking strategies for the IELTS exam, helping students reach the 4.0 – 4.5 level at the end of the course.
The teaching methodologies of the program are based on the active learning model. Students will participate in group discussions, present in English in real-life communicative situations, and apply knowledge and thinking skills to solve problems. They can, therefore, optimize the communicative practices and overcome a common weakness which is the lack of confidence.
