YOLA provides 17 billion scholarship for children of frontline medical professionals battling the COVID-19 pandemic

Ho Chi Minh City, April 20th, 2020, YOLA Education proudly presented 1,000 English course scholarships for children of frontline medical professionals battling the COVID-19 pandemic across Vietnam.

YOLA Education is doing its part to recognize and acknowledge the great effort and sacrifices made by  frontline medical professionals battling the COVID-19 pandemic across Vietnam.

We can see the sacrifices they are making; exposing themselves to potential infection on a daily basis, working to physical exhaustion and long hours to treat ill patients in their care and the emotional toll of self-quarantine; of being separated from their families, particularly their children. We want to do what we can to help the families of medical professionals during this challenging time by contributing to the education and welfare of their children. Therefore, YOLA Education proudly provides 1,000 YOLA Smart Learning Scholarships, valued up to 14 billion VND to the children of frontline medical professionals effective immediately. This is our small way of supporting and expressing the special thanks to the heroes of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Yola’s scholarships are part of its wider  “Together We Win” Program. Our program aim is to give the utmost support to education partners, communities, parents and students in need to continue their learning through Yola’s  online teaching methodology and technology platforms.. We have delivered many other initiatives during this difficult time. On March 24th, 2020, YOLA organized a training session for  online learning and teaching for teachers of Thang Long Vocational and English School. Additionally , on April 16th, 2020, YOLA Education together with NT Impact Company and the Family of Mrs. Pham Thi Nam presented 1,000 surgical masks and 15 boxes of hand sanitizer to the Soc Trang Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital.
